For 2024, our world missions offering will involve three projects, each with a goal of 1000€:
LIGHT FOR KIDS: This project involves working with churches in Egypt to assist them in distributing gift bags in orphanages with which they are connected. The bags will include both practical items such as socks or health care items, but also age appropriate toys. Where it is possible and appropriate, Christian materials will be included.
FILL THE BARN: This project is a partnership with Heifer International, which assists in purchasing animals for families who are struggling with hunger and living wage situations. These animals help with both of those circumstances. Connections and support is made through local churches with whom Heifer partners.
INTERNATIONAL BAPTIST CONVENTION: This project is a partnership with the IBC, which uses this annual offering to support church planting efforts, not just with IBC churches, but also our partners in the European Baptist Mission. Further, IBC special projects through local IBC churches receive funding through this offering.
