Janet Yachoua – Deacon Chair
Hi, my name is Janet Yachoua and I hail from the UK. I have lived in Wiesbaden for over forty years and have been a member of Immanuel for over thirty of those. I am a wife, mother to three adult sons and teach languages at the Danielschule, the Christian school in Wiesbaden.
Shiphrah Ayebare
Hi, my name is Shiphrah, and I’m originally from Uganda. I lived in Kenya for 7 years before moving to Germany in 2024 for my studies. I have been attending IBC for over a year and serve in the Children’s Ministry Nursery, where I enjoy caring for our 0–3 year olds. I truly love working with children and feel blessed to be part of their early growth and learning.

Daniel Ottenberg
Hi, my name is Daniel. I am German, and we joined IBC in 2024 after returning from Indonesia, where we had lived for six years. I am a husband of an Indonesian wife, father of a wonderful son and enjoy hiking, reading, travelling (and returning home!).

Hello! I have lived in Egypt, Italy and now Germany for 1/4 of my life and arrived in Germany in 2023. I am actively involved in Sunday Bible Teaching, Missions and became a Deacon in 2025. When not playing golf and traveling – well I’m working my day job!
Klaus Schoppa
I have lived in Venezuela for 14 years. This is the reason why I particularly love IBC. With people coming from so many different countries, the feeling within IBC is very international. Since late 2021 I have been attending IBC together with my wife and daughter. Besides being Deacon since 2025, I’m also part of the Tech Team, which has been really fun being part of.
